Fall Is For Cowboy Boots

Thank you all for the prayers and kind words about my Dad.  He went in for the angiogram today and found out the blockage did not require surgery, so he was extremely lucky.  He will be on a strict diet and exercise program and will be monitoring his heart.  I am constantly amazed at the amount of love and support I receive from blogging.  I can't thank you all enough for taking the time to even pray for my Dad.  Once again the blogging community makes me realize why I love blogging so much.

So, moving on...I love Fall.  Fall is for football games, it's for cuddling by the fireplace at night, it's for pumpkin-anything, and gorgeous sunsets.  It's also for cowboy boots.  I'm in love with cowboy boots, more specifically Old Gringo cowboy boots.  So, imagine my excitement when Old Gringo gave us a preview of what's to come in this year's collection.  Take a look:

Fashion Friday Beautiful Baroque

First, an update on Dad:  My Dad is scheduled for an angiogram tomorrow at 1:30 and if there is too much damage to his heart after having a mild heart attack last night, he will have to have open heart surgery.  Please pray for him.  He is truly an angel and the Lord has so much work for him to do.  We all appreciate the prayers and I will keep you updated.

Get A Head

I hope you all had a great day...things were going well for me until I found out my dad had been rushed to the hospital with chest pains :-(.  He's still not feeling well and they are keeping him overnight to run some tests.  Please keep him in your prayers.  I will know more tomorrow.

I'm trying to stay busy with a blog post, so ever since I got my new place, I'm dying for a gorgeous new headboard.  I'm not sure I'll find the perfect one, but in the meantime, check out these lovelies.

Street Style: Stockholm Fashion Week

Today was another great day!  I'm shocked...no attitude, no tension, it's weird.  What's in the water?  These kids are so respectful this year.  I'm so excited.  The Lord is really pouring out his blessings on me.  To top it all off, my amazing boyfriend sent me flowers to school to tell me "Welcome Back."  He made my day and I'm so lucky to have him in my life.

I love the street style posts.  It's great to see the fashion out there just walking around with their own ideas and way of putting things together.  I have to say the photos from Stockholm's Fashion Week might be my favorite of all.  Not only are these ladies gorgeous, but their style is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.  Have a great night!

Tennis Anyone?

Hey there everyone!  My first day went really well.  The kids were respectful and the day was pretty easy.  Maybe God heard me begging for good kids this year?  Maybe it's my new happiness?  Not sure, but I'm really excited for day 2.  I'm a bit exhausted though and had to take a nap lol.  I won't be able to release my posts at work anymore, so I will have to post each afternoon/evening, instead of in the morning.   I hope that doesn't affect any of your comments or following of the blog.  Check back each day for the updated posts!

1st Day Of School!

Yep, it's finally here.  I can't deny it any longer.  I'm posting tonight, because I won't have time to even look at the computer tomorrow lol.  Tomorrow is the 1st day of school, or better known as back to work for me. I have a feeling this is going to be my best year yet.  So, here goes!  Here's some of the things I find inspiring at the moment and wanted to share!  Have an amazing Monday!

My last weekend of freedom before school starts...how depressing.  Oh wait, I have so much to look forward to, that I'm actually excited to get school started.  I'm unpacking this weekend, so I can get settled in my new place, and it's football season!  So, if you're a football fan, tell me who your team is.    Have a great weekend all!
