Olympians Make Their Mark

This one is my favorite so far

The end of July already?  Where does the time go?  I've been in Colorado over a month already and I'm having such a fabulous time.  We had thunderstorms last night and it was perfect sleeping weather.  I've been watching as much of the Olympics as I can...how about you?  I'm so excited that Missy Franklin is from Colorado!  I have to admit though, the one thing I'm a bit fascinated by is the Olympians' tattoos.  I'm a lover of tattoos, I'm not shy about that, and it seems in these games that just about everyone's got one...take a look:

Which one is your favorite?

Nashville

Are you as excited for Nashville on ABC as I am?  This is the perfect show for me.  Country music, drama, romance, and a little country fashion all wrapped into one.  The show starts this fall and stars Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere among others like Powers Booth.  If that wasn't enough, the show was created by Callie Khouri of Thelma and Louise fame.

It's Fashion Friday again!  The weather's been so nice here in beautiful Colorado and I'm noticing a lot of sundresses out and about.  It's so easy to throw on a great sundress, pair of sandals, and some fabulous accessories to run around town.  Vogue Magazine agrees with me (LOL) and featured some ideas for this exact trend and how to wear them for various occasions...check them out:

Concert Style--Neil Diamond

Good morning!  I'm enjoying my coffee while listening to Neil Diamond, getting ready to see him tonight.  I'm so excited.  He's definitely an American legend, and a bit sexy too :-).  The concert is indoors so I won't be wearing my usual summer concert gear.  What will I be wearing, you ask?

In The Fringe

  The one trend I am looking forward to this year is fringe.  Fringe never goes out of style, and looks sexy and edgy at the same time.  Anyone can wear it, whether it's a detail on a pair of boots, or an all-out fringe coat.  Here are a few things I was able to find at Nordstrom, some are on sale, others are not.

The Olympics are beginning this weekend in London, so what's more fitting than a little British style?  The Union Jack is one of my favorite symbols and lately it seems it's everywhere.  Join in on the fun, and get a little festive for the games?
