It's Saturday! Yay! Love the long weekends. I'm heading out for a hike with my friend Kelley of A Flame of Fashion. You should check her out if you get a chance...she's new to the blogging community. Since I've started working out with my amazing trainer (LaMonte you are the best), I find myself looking for more active things to do. Kelley told me about this 5k called The Color Run. It looks like so much fun...you get dry paint thrown on you at every marker...what a blast. Check out the photos.

I just found out about The Color Run last weekend. It does look so fun! And I want to do it. There's not one in Philly but there happens to be one in New York the day after a wedding I'm going to on Long Island.

Oh my gosh! I don't know if I'd like that paint thrown at me! Although I would be interested in a muddy buddy race of some sort. For now I will rest my tired feet from running 10 miles this morn. Sigh... xoxo A

This looks like soooo much fun! Who wouldn't want to get paint thrown on them? I mean it's like a unicorn and a skittle had a baby and you ran threw it. Yeah, let that roll around in your head for a bit!
No lie, I was just reading about this run and am totally going to do it in DC!! It looks like a blast. There is also one called DivaDash (which may be put on by Glamour) but its looks like heaps of fun too:)

The Color Run was in my city today, and I'm so sad because I didn't find out early enough to sign up. But my sister and I are doing the 2013 one for sure. :)

aww sounds so very cool!! :)) theres a tradition in india called 'holi' which is celebration of throwing colours on eachother!! its pretty similar to this!
