Fashion Friday Shades of Summer

It's my favorite day of the week again--Fashion Friday!  I hope you can link up with me on this long weekend...in the spirit of Summer and the holiday weekend, I thought I'd share my love of sunglasses.  It's impossible to be fashionable without a fabulous pair of shades.  My favorites are Chanel of course, but I love so many, I could have a million pairs!  What about you?  Which are your favorites?  Do you wear traditional black, or more fun red, white, etc.?

Wordless Wednesday Workout Fiend & New Blog

Ok, so first off, you probably noticed my blog looks a little different. I had a blog makeover and need to thank the wonderfully talented Stephanie of Dirt and Lace for all her hard work.  She also created my author blog look at Kori Donahue.  It was so much fun to work with her and change things up a bit.  I'm thrilled with how it turned out.  What do you think?

Tie Dye or Not To Dye?

You might not know this, but tie-dyeing did not begin in the 1960's with the hippie movement.  Tie-Dyeing has been around since as early as 500 A.D. or so.  There are many techniques and styles of Tie-Dying, including Spiral, V, Random, and Random Circles.  Who knew?  Do you wear tie dye?  I do, but sometimes feel like I belong in the 60's.  Do you own anything tie-dyed?

Striking Stripes

Hope you had a great weekend friends.  I hiked again yesterday and I'm exhausted.  I'm motivated, but so sore!  Summer is in full swing here and I'm loving my time off.  I'm noticing a lot of stripes lately.  I love stripes, just don't know if they're ultra flattering on me.  Black and white stripes are so timeless, and navy and white are nautical.  Tell me what you think.  I am in love with the Jessica Simpson handbag, available now at Nordstrom.

Italian Chic

Good morning friends.  Hope you're having a great weekend!  It's a beautiful Sunday morning here and I'm so excited about what the week will bring.  I am so curious about the fashion and style of other countries, and Italy is no exception.  With Men's Fashion Week going on in Milan, there are plenty of eye-catching styles on the streets.  I thought I'd share them with you.
