Ladylike But Painful

I can't believe it's Thursday already!  Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?  Only 17 more days to shop!  I'm done, but have to find some stocking baubles for my mom and dad.  After visiting the set of Pretty Little Liars on Monday, I've been looking for some different ways to branch out in my fashion.  One thing I love is corsets.  I don't own any, but love them with a great pair of jeans, or on the back of a fabulous wedding dress.  I love the old ads that show all the different corsets women had to choose from.  Can you imagine having to lace that thing up every single day?  What do you think?  Don't forget to enter my giveaway for the entire 1st season of Pretty Little Liars!

Ouch! Yeah. Corsets do slenderize the waste but they sure are a pain to wear.

I would love to own a corset, but they're pretty expensive if you want one that's of decent quality. They're so very ladylike!

My wedding dress laced up the back. It was pretty, but I couldn't sit down all night! Hahaha.

I had one when I was in high school. I was in a group that dressed up in the Gone with the wind era dresses. Thankfully I never had it pulled to tight.

I am a huge fan of corsets as well. I do have to say that I own quite a few BUT have yet to wear them as a top before. Either way, there is something super feminine and sexy about them

You should totally get one! I have one in red and black that laces up the back, but snaps in the front! I don't wear it often, but it's awesome!

My prom dress was also a corset top! They are great, and if it's set up to fit you, can actually be quite comfy!

Corsets are sultry and very feminine, but i do agree on them being a pain if worn all day. Like in Pirates of the Caribbean when Elizabeth kept fainting from her tight corset!

Love the look of corsets! I haven't been able to find the right one that I can pull off quite yet! Happy searching!!

Corsets actually make great outer wear nowadays and they do go with jeans so well!

I'm glad that women are no longer required to wear corsets because they look so painful. And you hear stories about ladies passing out in them if they're too tight...but they are pretty!

I know how uncomfortable I am when my jeans are too tight. I just couldn't imagine how those women did it back in the day.

They're pretty to look at, but I wouldn't want to wear. HAHA

Corsets are not for me - too uncomfortable. However, I wouldn't mind the "sexy" kind for an attention getter and a particular romantic evening. Ya know what I mean?
