Today I'm hosting a linkup called "Flirting With Temptation Thursday!" I hope you can link up with me by blogging about anything you're tempted by this week.
This week I've been thinking a lot about redecorating and what type of style I want for my space. I used to hate Shabby Chic but lately have been enjoying the feminine side of the style. I found some great examples of the style on Pinterest. I am so inspired by people like Rachel Ashwell. What do you think of Shabby Chic. Do you like it?

I adore Shabby Chic style. My room in high school was very white/light pink and frilly and I adored it. I recently bought new bedding that was a bit more neutral and "adult" and I really hate it. I should've gone with my gut and bought more pink. ;)
I do like the shabby chic style. I'm not sure how to incorporate it into my home decor though. Maybe I can start with some decorative pillows in the bedroom. :)
I love it- my first apartment was all Shabby Chic when Rachel Ashwell had a line at Target. Then I got married & apparently boys don't like pink & ruffles!
Its easy to go overboard though- I like some of the more rustic elements mixed in that appear in your pinterest photos.
I love the Shabby Chic style but do not think I would actually ever decorate with it. I like looking at it but not having it in my own home, know what I mean? I have got to remember to do somthing next Thursday so I can link up with Flirting With Temptation Thursday!
I like the style looks very nice, but might not be that practical to live in since everything is white.
All of my furniture is white shabby chic in my room, other then my bright apple green bookcase! Which might seem odd coming from the girl who linked up with horror movies...
Oooh, how I love the shabby chic style! That bed is soooo romantic!!
But the one really tempting me is that bathtub!!! look at those Pink flowers floating in the water....bliss!! I want!!!
I so love that first bedroom. I am such a girlie girl, so anything frilly to me is the cutest thing ever... I just love it :)
Oh man! I love every one of those pics, gorgeous!!!
DREAMY!!
Hi Kori,
I like the shabby chic style. I also liked your post on lipsticks. My colors are what I call my "Cherry Ice Cream Smile" I created by using a lip liner and lipstick. I wrote a post on how I get it, I agree with you I have to have my lips covered when I go out. The lips make all the difference.
I love Shabby Chic. This post is really inspiring my inner interior designer!
I love this look. However, I'd have to completely overhaul my entire apartment to accomplish it...maybe my next place. A fabulous idea for an office!
I don't really like shabby chic, but I think I could incorporate some of this into my house for a good mix. I really love white bedding.
This just may be what heaven looks like... gorgeous. Sending you warm weekend wishes, sweetie! XX
