Today marks the 10 year anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York. My goal for this post is to remember. To remember everything our country experienced and went through that fateful day. To remember the lives lost in the horrific attack. The volunteers, firefighters, policemen, and anyone else who did everything they could to help our country that day. To remember where you were when it happened. To remember the tears, the pain, the heartache that we, as a country experienced. To remember that we are AMERICA AND WILL NEVER FORGET. To remember that we are STRONGER BECAUSE OF THIS LIFE CHANGING EVENT. Please remember today. Say a prayer for our country, the heroes we lost, the heroes who survived, those who experienced it first hand, and of course, those who had to experience it first hand. GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Thanks for a tribute post. While some images may be controversial we still must remember
The last video is very heartbreaking. Truly I felt frozen. his life just like that, was gone.
I've been watching so much on tv this week about 9/11 I really can remember it like yesterday.

Calling All Dolls!
wonderful post! I am in tears.
Those photos are so bone chilling. It's good to look at them and remember what a big deal this was.
While those pictures are tragic and disturbing, I still think it's good for us to see them. We must never forget the tragedy of that day, because as a wise person once said, those that forget history are doomed to repeat it.

Those are graphic pictures, but I think they are ones we need to look at every year. Great post.
I can't even imagine what must have been going through those people's minds - to choose jumping over staying in the buildings. Such a tragedy.

I remember 9/11 as my 14th birthday. Even though I'm in New Zealand, and I little bit more removed than I would be if I'd been in the US, it's still shocking. 10 years later, at 24, I still don't think I really understand it.
I couldn't bring myself to watch that last video - it feels too much like intruding on something that's not mine to listen to.
