I've been watching Elvis movies all day. What a loss to the world. Love that first picture!
I was a very young teen when Elvis became really big. Funny, I didn't like him back then. It was only when I saw him in his special he did in about 1966 (?), just him and his band live, that he really impressed me. That colonel really did a number on him. He would've been a much better performer if he wasn't under the Colonel's iron grip.
The first picture on the post is one of my favourites! :") Elvis stays unrivalled.
Thanks for posting this about Elvis. I am a big fan. I saw him twice live in the 70's on tour. He had it all, looks, charisma and talent. Never be another one like him. We miss you Elvis!

He would have ONLY been 76? Geez for some reason I thought he'd be older. What a shame he died. He would have been a cool older guy!

Love Elvis ! I think the special was in Maddison square garden in 56if you're talking about the concert where he was wearing a black leather suit Roberta. He was hot ! I'm 23 and I've probably been listening to Elvis' songs for 23 years ;)
