Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Today was another great day in Ohio. I went to Amish country, which was fascinating. The people were so nice and the country is beautiful. I bought a really great white turquoise ring. Then we headed over to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. What an amazing place, right on the lake!

My favorite exhibit of course, had everything to do with Elvis. There were outfits of his, letters from the Colonel, pictures, movie posters, and even one of his purple Cadillacs. It was amazing. I tried to take pics but they almost threw me out! There was also a lot of memorabilia on Jim Morrison that was really interesting. What a great place! The last thing I loved was Johnny Cash's actual tour bus! So great!!!

Then, we headed over to this wonderful area called Crocker Park. Outdoor music, restaurants, and shopping. What more could a girl ask for? Can't wait for tomorrow! Having a blast with my brother and sister-in-law! I just might never leave.

Staying Another Week!

Hello there friends! I don't usually post about personal stuff going on in my life, but I'm on vacation, and so excited, so I have to share with you! I've decided to stay another week in Ohio, so all in all I will be here 2 weeks! Yay! So excited to spend time with my brother and sister-in-law.

We went to the Indians/Yankees game last night and were hoping to see A-Rod hit his 600th home run, but it didn't happen. What a gorgeous field though!

Enjoying a lot of peace and quiet here in the country by myself.

Today, we're visiting the Football Hall of Fame.

I can't seem to sleep at night and have tried everything. Anyone else have insomnia? Have a great day friends!

I'm Still in Ohio...

Wow, what a night last night! We drove into Cleveland to see Ted Nugent at the House of Blues. First of all, the place is amazing, and we were so excited to see the show, but then a security guard came up and grabbed me. He escorted us up to the stage and we got to watch the whole show in front of the front row, against the stage!!! Wow, my luck! We were steps away from Ted and the band. It was so awesome! I will post some pics soon!

A relatively new blogger, Best Ending is a New Beginning has linked me in a post today. You have to go check her out, her blog is adorable! Tell her I sent you!

I'm thinking of staying another week here in Ohio, so I will keep you updated. I feel so relaxed. Have a great day friends!

Angelina Jolie

She's not one of my favorite celebrities or anything, but she is an amazing actress. Angelina Jolie gives a lot to humanitarian organizations, and can definitely keep our interest when we watch her in an action flick. Have you seen Salt yet? I'm dying to see it. Here are some great photos of the beautiful Angelina.

Making it through...

As you know, it's been a tough week for me, but I am making it through with some help from some people and things I am excited about. First, my mom is the most amazing, beautiful, kind-hearted, wonderful woman I have ever met. She has been such a tremendous help to me this week and I can't thank her enough for her unconditional love. My dad is just as amazing, and I can't say enough about him either, but my mom is my mom.

Next, I am truly thrilled that Mad Men is coming back this Sunday. I can't wait. I am still catching up on the last few DVD's of season 3, so I can't wait to begin again!

Mom's friend Bobbi is having a tea to celebrate special needs kids tomorrow that is going to be fabulous! The theme is Christmas in July! I can't wait to post pics!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend truly appreciating all that is good in your lives.

What's on Your Mind?

I rarely post anything that is not informative about someone else, but every so often, I need to share. Some things on my mind this week:

**I'm taking 6 online classes at once to get a pay raise for fall, so wish me luck!

**I'm loving summer, but it has been about 105 degrees this week and it's so hot!

**The local fair is coming up this weekend, so I'm thinking of checking it out.

**I decided to give Mimi La Rue a new haircut, but don't have any good pics of her new do.

**I miss the beach, and haven't been all summer.

**I got a new Betsey Johnson purse today at the Nordstrom sale and am in love.

**I can't wait to see Inception tomorrow night!

**I'm loving McDonald's mocha frappe's right now, even though I don't want to know the calorie count!

**I'm craving Disneyland since I didn't get to go this week and can't wait to get back next!

Hope you had a great week, and have a fabulous weekend friends!

Countdown to Inception

As some of you know, I am a huge Leo DiCaprio fan. Although I usually don't like fantasy or sci-fi type films, I can't wait to see Inception this Friday. Leo is such an amazing actor and everything he is in is top notch. Here are some facts about the film. Are you going to see it?

--During production, details of the film's plot were kept secret. Christopher Nolan, who wrote the script, cryptically described it as a contemporary sci-fi action thriller "set within the architecture of the mind."

--Early on, James Franco was in talks with Christopher Nolan for a role. However, due to scheduling conflicts, he was unavailable to join the cast. Joseph Gordon-Levitt was ultimately cast in the role offered to Franco.

--The labyrinthine style of the movie's logo resembles the logo of Christopher Nolan's production company Syncopy.

--Evan Rachel Wood was Christopher Nolan's first choice to play Ariadne, but she turned it down.

--Leonardo DiCaprio was Emma Thomas and Christopher Nolan's only choice for the role of Cobb.

Women of Eclipse

I stumbled across these gorgeous images from Vanity fair and had to share them with you! Eclipse was amazing and I highly recommend it. The women are all gorgeous as you can see in the following images.

Eclipse’s Ashley Greene, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Dakota Fanning vamp it up.

Dakota Fanning plays the red-eyed Volturi vampire Jane. “I was a fan, and I was honored that I got asked to be a part of this whole phenomenon,” she told Nancy Jo Sales.

Ashley Greene plays 109-year-old Alice Cullen but doesn’t look a day over ... well, a lot less than that. “[Twilight’]s given me this incredible springboard to dive into my career,” she said. “I would still be working as a hostess at a restaurant to support myself.”

As vampire Esme Cullen, Elizabeth Reaser plays the matriarch of the coven. “We have a battle with these out-of-control newborn vampires,” she said. “They’re trying to take us down, and it’s, Don’t mess with my family.”

Clockwise from top: Bryce Dallas Howard portrays Victoria, a blood-thirsty vampire with a vendetta; Dakota Fanning stars as Jane, a vampire who can inflict pain with a mere glance; Ashley Greene plays the aforementioned vampire Alice Cullen, who can see the future; Julia Jones is Leah Clearwater, the only female member of the Wolf Pack; and Nikki Reed is Rosalie Hale, a vampire with a seriously haunted past.
