Happy Friday!

Happy Early Halloween everyone! I hope you all have many fun things planned for this creepy weekend. I, for some reason cannot seem to get into the mood. Maybe it's because I have no fabulous parties to go to this year? What are you doing?

Today, we are watching "Nightmare Before Christmas" and "Hocus Pocus" in my classes to give them a bit of a break. Fun times!

So many of you posted great advice yesterday about the dating nightmares. I really appreciate it and take it all to heart!

Heading out with friends this weekend for a much needed glass of wine. I'm on the red kick right now.

Finally, NaNoWriMo begins Monday!!!! Yikes! I still have no story ideas, so I guess I will start working on it this weekend. Have a great Friday friends!

I love the blog look! I'm not into Halloween this year either. We just moved into a new house last weekend so I don't know where our decorations or movies are. Happy Halloween anyway!

...honestly, back in the Cro-Magnon Era, when EYE was a kid, Halloween was just not NEARLY that big of a deal... just one night of the year where kids dressed up with whatever they could find, or MAYBE get a store costume (plastic face mask and a little 'cape' deal) - and you only went to the 8-10 houses of the neighbors your folks knew, and then you came home and dumped out everything on the dining room table to check out the stash - done in less than an hour, on average ...and we LIKED it...we LOVED it!!! ('grumpy old man' from SNL...Dana Carvey...y'all probably don't know that, either...oy...) Of course, there are 'fall festivals' and all other manner of things for the kids nowadays, and my daughter partakes in at least a few...funny thing is, she isn't THAT big of a candy fan...she would just as soon sit down with a bottle of hot sauce and tostitos...just like her old man, eh? :-]

ANYWAY, hope everyone who DOES partake in the festivities has a great and safe time, no matter the nature of the activity... ;-) And Kori... hope YOU have a wickedawesome time wherever you end up! KIG!
