Well, I'm home not feeling that great (a headache and maybe a stomach bug), watching movies (Secret Window) right now, and decided to write my New Year's resolutions list. I hate to call them resolutions. I just want to improve upon some things this year to be the best Kori I can be...wow that sounds cheesy LOL. Oh well, here goes:
1. I plan to shop less and save more. I know, I know, that seems impossible, but really how many pairs of jeans can a girl have? It's such a nice feeling to have money in the bank.
2. Although I hate to exercise, I plan to get my butt back on the treadmill. Besides making me feel better, I sleep so soundly it's worth it.
3. I have to revise my novel! No more putting it off. The quicker I revise and finish it, the quicker I can work on getting it published!
4. I really don't have anything to work on in my relationship with Jerry, so that's why he's #4, but I guess if I have to pick something, I will continue to love him more and more everyday.
5. I want to spend more quality time with both my parents. Even though I see them a lot, I tend to take them for granted a little, I'll admit.
6. I plan to get out to Ohio to visit my brother and sister-in-law. I miss them so much!
7. I will continue to work on my teaching career to be the best English teacher I can. The kids deserve the best education possible.
8. I plan to get back on the drinking water track. I love it, but for some reason don't drink enough of it, and unfortunately feel like my skin is looking old because of it.
9. I plan to get outside for just a couple minutes if that's all I have each day to enjoy all that God has to offer.
10. I plan to get back to church and begin reading my Bible again. I've missed it so.
What are your resolutions friends? I'm sure there are many more things I'm forgetting, but for now I will focus on these...have a great New Year's Eve and be safe friends!

Happy New Year, my love!! Feel better please!
Thanks Julie...you are too sweet friend! Happy New Year to you too doll...Kori xoxo
Hope you're feeling completely better in the morning! My resolutions are the same old, same old: eat less, exercise more, blah, blah, blah.
I like yours better.
I hope you feel 100% better tomorrow, Kori!
I have several goals I want to meet- a brand new album in Spring, a trip to Europe sometime... I'd love to try and get up earlier! As a musician who blogs, I end up being up until 3 a.m. and in bed until 11 a.m. Not sure if that's the best schedule for me to have!

Hey Kori, your resolutions list sounds good and realistic. I could use your list for my own except for the English teacher part. I should have been an English or Literature teacher probably. Bad grammar is my #1 pet peeve. I have to bite my tongue daily to not correct a co-worker whose grammar is atrocious. My kids tell me quite often that I should have become a teacher :-) Hope you feel better soon. Have a blessed New year!
Such a great idea to exercise and drink water. I swear that drinking lots of water keeps your skin looking young and vibrant - so crazy because it's completely free and people spend tons of money on good skin products. All you need is to drink water. Your list is very respectable and I hope that you are able to accomplish all your resolutions. I need to get started on mine! Happy New Year!
Those are great resolutions. However, I have one suggestion: put your feet on the treadmill...not your butt. That would hurt! Believe me, I have tried it and it is not a good thing! Happy New Year!
Happy new year! Great resolutions - I agree with Malisa, use your feet on treadmill!!!
Best of luck with accomplishing everything :-) Go girl! Thanks for your blog friendship these last few months!!
Happy New Year girlie...

Saving money is so hard to do, but such a wise idea! That is what we had to do in order to move to Italy and it definitely was worth it. I would love to email you dear! My new apartment does not have internet yet so I haven't had much time online but I want to keep in touch as much as possible! You can reach me at inspirationsinitaly@gmail.com :)
